Homemade Beefaroni
Cook the Pasta:
Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Beef:
2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess fat if needed.
Add Onion and Garlic:
3. Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
4. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add Tomatoes and Seasoning:
5. Add the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine.
