Steak Cheese Steak Quesadillas Delight
Cook the Steak: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced beef top sirloin, season with salt and pepper, and cook until the steak is browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the sliced onions and green bell peppers, and sauté until they are tender and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
Assemble the Quesadillas: Lay out the flour tortillas. On one half of each tortilla, add a layer of the cooked steak, followed by a portion of the sautéed onions and peppers. Top with shredded cheese. Fold the tortillas over to create a half-moon shape.
Cook the Quesadillas: In a clean skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Cook the quesadillas one at a time, about 2-3 minutes on each side, until the tortilla is golden brown and the cheese is melted. Add more butter as needed for each quesadilla.
Serve: Slice the quesadillas into wedges and serve hot, with your favorite dipping sauce or salsa on the side. Enjoy!
