Lunch Lady Brownies Bliss
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and cocoa powder until smooth.
Add the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
Gradually stir in the flour and salt until the batter is smooth and fully incorporated.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out with just a few moist crumbs. Do not overbake.
While the brownies are baking, prepare the frosting: In a medium bowl, beat together the softened butter, cocoa powder, milk, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy and smooth.
Once the brownies are done, allow them to cool slightly, then spread the frosting evenly over the warm brownies.
Let the brownies cool completely before slicing into squares.
