Easy Strawberry Slab Pie Bliss
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prepare the Crust: Roll out one pie crust and fit it into a greased 10x15-inch rimmed baking sheet, pressing it into the corners.
Mix the Filling: In a large bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Toss until the strawberries are evenly coated.
Assemble the Pie: Pour the strawberry mixture onto the prepared crust, spreading it out evenly. Dot the filling with small pieces of butter.
Top with the Second Crust: Roll out the second pie crust and place it over the strawberry filling. Pinch the edges together to seal. Use a sharp knife to cut a few small slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
